Singing Along, Part II (updated another time)

1. Refesh page and check for more recent entry. 
2. Practice for 30 minutes minimum at a time. 
3. Practice note values, make or use flash cards. 
4. Write in all beats for Oh Susanna.  
5. Name the notes going up from open (sharps) on all strings and down from the 12th fret (flats). Review rhythm sheet. 
6. Clean up Oh Susanna, singing to the melody and chords. Singing to words while playing the chords should be the final and most important step.  
7. Work on additional pages after Oh Susanna rounds into shape.  
8. Make sure you don’t look at your right hand or post any fingers on the Uke with it.  
9. Work on trusting your hands more to work by feel. 
10. Sing loud all the time!
