  4. look at left hand only, make sure picking and counting happen with metronome click, and make sure to count in.

  5. Focus on making notes last the full value, make sure to play legato. Swing from vine to vine.

  6. Tune every time you pick up the guitar

  7. Count yourself in and sing the count while playing.

  8. work in chunks of two measures. Memorize, then work that chunk using the rule of five to the metronome.
