  1. 5/31/17 Indians due next week!
  2. Make sure you're ready to play before you start playing.
  3. Make sure you understand the parts before you start practicing them. Know what notes and beats you need to play.
  4. Pages 24-27. Read the directions on every page.
  5. Try to remember to stay on time. Keep tightening your rhythm to the metronome, keep it smooth.
  6. Focus on staying with the metronome, make sure you're listening activiley.
  7. Make sure notes that you play on beats with the metronome are right on time and feel right.
  8. Check practice page, leave comments on your practices.

Counting, clapping, and eighth notes

  1. Count and clap 8th notes to the metronome. Accent number beats which fall on metronome, space out and beats evenly between number beats (8th notes).
  2. Page 23 The Windmill, practice in chunks again, practice parts you can with metronome, practice ritardandos and fermatas without.
  3. Pgs 23-27, practice in small chunks, make sure you have the chunks down before you start playing the whole song.
  4. Make sure you're ready to play before you start playing!
