  3. Practice slow at 60 BPM.
  4. Don't forget to count.
  5. Try to keep repeated notes legato by lifting at the last minute.
  6. Play with fingerprints.
  7. Make sure to use a pillow and setup your bench in a good spot to play.
  8. Go over rhythm sheet, try to use it like flash cards

  1. Use the breathing exercise to stay loose and relaxed while you practice.
  2. Pages 42-45
  3. Play with fingerprints. 
  4. Play with thumb joints.
  5. Use pillow.
  6. Make it easy for yourself.
  7. Count out loud while you practice.
  8. Forte (F) means loud.
  9. MF means medium loud (mezzo forte).

  2. Relaaaaaaaaaaaax.
  3. Play from the wrist, push.
  4. Play with thumb joints and fingerprints.
  5. Keep wrist in neutral position when not playing at about key height.
  6. No flying fingers.
  7. Timing: Don't wait, don't anticipate. Count and feel the beat.
  8. Try to keep notes legato.

  2. Practice in chunks, then build.
  3. Practice each chunk using the Rule of 5.
  4. Always practice with metronome.
  5. Use note value flash cards as well as regular note cards.
  6. Power from wrists.
  7. Use pillow to sit higher.
  8. Don't rest wrists on piano.
  9. Don't play with just finger muscles.

  2. Practice each page to the metronome at 60 BPM (Beats Per Minute)
  3. Practice figuring out notes. Use Every Good Boy Does Fine and All Cows Eat Grass.
  4. Use Flash cards to practice reading notes.
  5. Practice memorizing which hand is which, the two Clefs, and which is high and which is low.
