  1. practice in chunks. 
  2. Correct bad habits.  
  3. Write in beats for exercises.  
  4. Work on chords.  
  5. Count out loud while playing.   
  6. Watch posture.  
  7. Set your feet.  
  8. Hold uke correctly anytime you hold it, otherwise set it down.

Singing Loud!

  1. Sing as loud as you can stand to while practicing everything.  
  2. Look at left hand only! 
  3. practice go tell aunt rhody to notes on the A string.  
  4. Try to get at least 4 four days of practice for at least a half hour.

Hand position

  1. Make sure to use a forward hand position.  
  2. Make sure most of your hand is behind the neck in grip position.  
  3. Do c and e pade of exercises.  
  4. Make sure to hold pick correctly, tip should go with pointer.  
  5. Work on angle of picking and strumming for a smoother sound. 
  6. Play prepare. Get the next note ready while you play the current note.

  1. Work on E string page.  
  2. Dont look at right hand.  
  3. Play with fingertips.  
  4. Keep going.  
  5. Visualize the first few notes before starting. visualize the next notes as you play. 
  6. Try to find and analyze patterns.  
  7. Try to practice from memory, not the page.  
  8. Tune every single time! Double check and play c chord.

  1. Work on C string page.  
  2. Remember to use chair trick for good posture.  
  3. Remember to hold hold the ukulele on thigh up against your hip with neck up.  
  4. play with finger tip.  
  5. Learn notes on staff as well as strings.  
  6. Practice tuning.  
  7. Always use metronome!
