  1. Think before you do. Think of solutions if you have problems doing/playing.

  5. Work on little brown jug in chunks using the rule of five. Memorize slow without metronome, then work chunks to metronome. Build chunks as you go.

  6. Figure out the best fingerings while working on chunks and write them in with pencil lightly.

  7. polish shortenin bread up including the swing feel.

Diaphragm Feel

  1. Take time to save time. Make sure your practice time is well spent. Be smart and put forth a good effort.

  2. Record wildwood chords and sing to recording. Stand with hands on ribs for diaphragm feel. Get good push and volume.

  3. Split time with eighth note page, go back through in chunks using the rule of five.

  4. Practice jacques muting and two ways for eighth note part, slide and same finger mute.
